One extended voyage through the Australian Coast was terminated in the wake of the fatal incident of an elderly female passenger who was abandoned by the cruise liner on a isolated tropical isle.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but broke off from the party for a break. The liner departed without her and came back several hours later after the personnel became aware the lady was missing.
