Christantus Uche Fuels Comfortable Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Even though entering their maiden continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are learning at a rapid pace. Missing key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding result that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct passage to the last 16, especially following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, finding the net for the second game in succession.

Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
